Is it a Dwyer DM-4?

Just measured the mast. ~2 3/4 x 2 1/8”. Checked out the Dwyer Mast sight. If a Dwyer mast the profile and dimensions look to be a DM-3.

Noel- According to my info, the cat is DM4, and the sloop is DM 3

Thanks Jerry. DM-3 and DM-4 look identical. Sizes are real close. Used a set of cheapo plastic calipers to measure.

Side note regarding the standing rig. More than care now when stepping or dropping the mast. Friend and 3 other buddies tried circumnavigating L. Superior on couple Hobies this past season. All was well for ~3/4 way round. Then a shroud snapped. Mast came crashing down. Never a good thing. In their specific case it happened probably in the worst place. The most remote stretch of shoreline on the Lake. The stretch running from Marathon to Michipicoten. They rafted the two cats together and sailed to a safe harbor. The wires almost looked like they were cut. Guessing sharp bend fatigued the wires. Couple thousand nautical miles of stress. Then bang.
