Re: Mainsail rigging

Hi Barry, Welcome to our forum and congratulations on your new boat. The tack is held down with the cunningham which cleats next to the jib halyard. The cunningham is also used to adjust the luff tension. Greg was planning on sailing this weekend, we'll see if we can get him to shoot some pics? sal

Re: The NEW SageSport 160

Hi Doug,

It sure sounds like fun and is worth thinking about. My family have gone down the Colorado in canoes where the river is really lazy. Around the Colorado / Utah border. On one trip, my son was only 2 and it worked well. Just camped along the shore. Let us know your plans?

Re: The NEW SageSport 160

Hey Doug,

Jut finished your article in Small Craft Adviser. Really good information. Thanx much.

I think our Sport Boat might be a good option for that type of exploring adventure.

Re: SageSport160 - building the hull mold

We're currently experimenting with different layups and different materials. We've had 2 boats out of the mold and we'll be testing them in the water this week.

On the shoulders of giants

While we were at Annapolis in October showing Sage's, a gentleman that has apparently been watching us for while, said; "I love your business model sal, Jerry Montgomery with pocket cruisers, and now Robb White. Sage is standing on the shoulders of giants". We showed a prototype of a Robb White desi...
