Sal

Thanks for the update. If you are pushing hard, then I'm buying a ticket today.

Best,

So ...... did the welder ever show up? Did Sal and Gail pick up the mold and take it to Denver? Any hope a SageCat (at least in partially complete form w/cabin, deck, and interior) will make the Annapolis Sailboat show? In other words, should I reserve a flight east?

6/5/15 From Beautiful Sacatomatoes--- Matt left yesterday for CO with the deck mold, where they will make a part (a deck) there. We've got the liner plug (the interior to you landlubbers) roughed out and ready for the sanding crew who will begin on it Monday. The settees worked out great; similar t...

I agree, sea sprite. But I try not to load my small boats down with too much gear beyond the stuff needed for a safe cruise. I guess if I had to choose between really comfortable bunks and pretty comfortable seating below for two versus more dedicated storage bins I would go for the former. I typica...

If Jerry can get a v-berth with footroom for two moderately tall old guys and non-slouching sitting room for them as well in the Sage 17 layout, I'm great with that.

We had this discussion again yesterday and much of the subject on the interior was storage area. If we make a convertible interior (Ferd's dwgs) we will lose most of the available storage in the cabin. SSOOooo, which is more valuable on a 15' pocket cruiser? sal If you can comfortably sit and sleep...

Your drawings get a thumbs up from me, Ferd. This was what I had in mind earlier when I suggested a layout similar to want was done on K. Prins' "Fetch" (as seen in SCA). I believe this is a good and efficient approach to sitting headroom/bench requirement on a '15 boat. For me, I don't ever see th...

Sage 15 interior

Hi Ferd, Thax much. Appreciate! sal Well, Sal, looks like a pretty dull thud on my interior concept, other than the very kind words by Meritt, Kingco and Casioqv. Hard to say what that deafening silence means. I don't suppose it would be reasonable for Jerry to mock up both concepts (one each side?...

Great design Ferd, I would like to modify my M15 in this way also- so I can eat or read upright inside the cabin during bad weather. I'll wait to see what happens on the final S15, because I suspect an identical copy of the S15 system wouldn't harm the resale value. The only downside I see is that ...

Jerry

Beautiful! Incredible proportions. This boat is going to be the best looking small sailboat ever.

Thanks.
