Re: Sage 15 & SageCat daggerboard picture

Agree! I like the emphasis on the keel provided by the 'back lighting' :) Great overall shot of the boat and its proportions! Looks very nice.

BTW, just got my copy of SCA in the mail today. Nice cover and writeup on the S15 inside!

Re: SageCat headed to Alaska

:) The time spent in development will be well worth it. People will be enjoying these boats for many, many years! I've been lucky enough to visit the factory a couple of times and saw some of details going into the S15 -- they have been thoughtful and well done by the team.

Re: SageCat headed to Alaska

First SageCat to be released into the wild? (first customer delivery?)

If so, Congratulations to the Sage Team and the new SageCat owner on this major milestone! :)

Looking forward to seeing a lot more of these on the lakes and bays!

Re: The "little" details and questions??

Couple people I know that have owned Montgomery boats keep telling me "sloop rig" without giving me a real solid reason against cat rigged. I can't think of any "solid" reasons Montgomery boat owners would vote "Sloop" over "Cat" based on their experience specifically with Montgomery designs- It ma...

Sage Marine Visit

Thanks to Dave and Matt for showing me around the shop and the S-15 earlier this week! It's clear that Sage Marine is committed to quality evidenced by the updates made to their facility for producing the new 15 - tooling for resin infusion, environmental controls, safety- very impressive! I had a g...

"On the road" Weight

Hi Sage Team,

Have you had an opportunity to put the prototype S15 Sloop / Trailer combination on the scales? I understand that it may be similar to the M15, just curious how much lighter it is coming out.

Thanks! :)

Thanks Sal! Stan deserves most of the credit there! Always a pleasure to sail a Sage 17! Nice to see you and the gang at CC this year!
