Testing the SageSport 160 - Total Capacity

#1 Post by TazKristi » Fri Dec 21, 2018 3:20 pm

Testing the SageSport™ 160 for total capacity (and possibly sinking her) in Colorado during late fall, took some creativity. Luckily a nearby condo association was kind enough to allow us use of their indoor pool. We’re pleased to share that we were able to float and fill a SageSport 160 with more than 300 gallons of water. That’s 2,500 pounds! She floated level and on her lines with a few inches of freeboard, even with the water spilling over her gunnels. We thought to share a few photos as well as a quick video. Hope you enjoy!

Thanx Kristi, for posting.

Thanx Greg for all of the proper calculations on flotation.
