Will you guys be sailing the 15 in Annapolis or is it an on land showing only? I'd love to see some pics of the sagecat in a bit more wind than the first sail on lake Dillon. Also some impressions on its sailing characteristics on different points of sail (fully realizing that there will be much twe...

Wow! Never seen anything like that before. So the line comes up through a hole in the cabin roof? How do you go about waterproofing that at anchor on a rainy night? (I ask because I live in the Pacific Northwest)

The progress is looking great! I'm more excited than ever about this boat. One question though, what is that thing in the middle of the coach roof deck just in front of the companion way hatch? I feel like I have good guesses about what all the other fittings are for but I can't figure that one out.

Sea Sprite, I like your idea of lower cost on the topping lift as compared to the boom kicker. Plus, if using the boom as a structural support for a cockpit tent it would be nice to have the boom very securely held in its horizontal position by a topping lift. Also, I guess this line would not need ...

My personal preference would be for a boom kicker instead of a topping lift. I've never used one but heard good things about them and they seem simple to rig once installed. I vote no on the down haul. I can't imagine a sail this small being too much trouble to get down. Finally for the lazy jacks.....

Any chance we can get an update on this? Over three weeks ago the deck mold was ready to make the first deck (much wax needed of course) and no news!!!! I'm dying here!

Yes it does Jerry, and thank you for your reply! I agree that I'm more drawn to the single cleet just in front of the helmsman rather than the bridle aft. Also, your description of the vang made good sense to me. Thanks!

Hi Jerry, Sal and Dave. Quick question. Are you intending for there to be a traveler on the SageCat? If so will it be on the cockpit floor just aft of the companionway or spanning the footwell? I have a hard time envisioning it having much effective movement on the cockpit sole. Probably simpler to ...

I guess now is the time to cast final votes for the interior so this boat can get built! I personally love to sail (as I'm sure all on this forum do) with all my heart and will gladly sail rain or shine, alone or with a massive load of people. However, I find that I get the greatest enjoyment out of...
