I was finally able to see results and read a few reports about the regatta. Sounds like there was essentially zero wind for any of the races. I assume you have had the chance to sail the boat in a bit more wind on some other occasion. Any updates on the sailing characteristics of the sagecat at this...

Folsom Lake Regatta Update?

Hi Jerry,
Sorry to be the squeaky wheel but I am excited to hear your report on the races this weekend with the Sagecat! How did she feel? I can't find any results from the regatta anywhere on the Internet or Facebook. Can't wait to hear about it!!

Rowing options for a Sagecat?

Hi Dave/Jerry, I was wondering if there would be any available options or suggested modifications for rowing my future Sagecat. Would it be as simple as some oar lock grudgeons on the cockpit combings and a piece of plywood spanning the footwell as a seat? I'm not interested in rowing as a form of l...

Thanks for the description Dave. That does sound like a very robust structure surrounding the CB.

Centerboard lock?

Hello all, This may have been covered elsewhere in this forum but I have searched and not found a direct answer to the question. Is there any way to secure the centerboard of the S 17 in the down position? I realize that the boat is not designed with the intent of blue water work, but being able to ...

Wrikle Boat Ran Tan Sailing?

Hey Jerry, I'm sure I am not alone when I say that I am more than a bit excited to hear your impressions on the sailing, development and tuning of the Sage Cat at the races in Arizona this past weekend! In the two distant pictures I've seen online of the Sagecat sailing there this weekend, she looke...
