Limited sailing experience. Dingy "sailor". Question? How does one heave to a cat rigged boat. Sort of understand the process in a sloop. But in a cat rig a bit clueless.

Sailing experience is limited to Lake Superior in 420s and Lazers plus one day crewing on a race boat. Have windsurfed off the shores HI to the Red Sea. Based on those experiences my favorite sailing location would be my "front yard". Western Lake Superior. The waters surrounding the Apostle Is.

Considering the Torqeedo Travel 1003. Two shaft length options. Short ~24", long ~30". Which would be the better option for the Sage15, SageCat? Local marinas require motoring out.
